Americana band JD & The Straight Shot – vocalist/guitarist Jim Dolan whose voice the New York Post calls "reminiscent of Tom Waits and Randy Newman," guitarist/vocalist Marc Copely (B.B. King, Rosanne Cash), bassist Byron House (Robert Plant, Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton), along with touring musicians guitarist JJ Appleton (David Bowie, Darius Rucker), violinist Mary Jo Stilp (Adele, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Sigur Ros), vocalist/guitarist Erin McCarley (Don Henley) and percussionists Shawn Pelton (Sheryl Crow, Levon Helm, Saturday Night Live band) and Everett Bradley (Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, Jon Bon Jovi) – are currently working on their forthcoming album due out in 2017.
